The Journées Européennes de Democosmétologie have the aim to promote high-level teaching and support interdisciplinary research projects in the field of cosmetology. In 2017, the Journées will be focused on ‘Personalized genomics and epigenetics, the future of dermocosmetology’.
Marisa Meloni, VitroScreen’s CEO, will give a lecture on Epigenetic associated to environmental stresses and skin aging
A novel UVA-induced inflammaging model will be presented. The model quantifies microRNAs targeting the NF-kB pathway whose altered gene expression may contribute to the modification of the inflammatory/anti-inflammatory balance, promoting oxidative stress, cellular senescence and age-related diseases.
